Who we are.
NooknKey is a privately-owned short-term rental at 4810 Michigan Ave, Nashville, TN 37209. This site (thenooknkey.com) is operated by the owner directly. When this policy says "we," "us," or "NooknKey," that's who's meant.
What we collect.
We collect only what you give us, plus a small amount of basic site analytics. Specifically:
- Contact-form submissions — name, email, phone (if you provide it), and whatever you write in the message field. Sent through Formspree to our email inbox.
- Group-inquiry submissions — same fields as above, separately tagged so we can prioritize larger or special-request stays.
- Email-list sign-ups — just your email address, sent to MailerLite for our newsletter.
- Booking information — if you book through the embedded widget on this site, that booking is processed by Hospitable and Stripe. We see your booking details (name, dates, contact, payment confirmation) but never your full card number or banking details.
- Site analytics — anonymous traffic data via Google Analytics 4: pages visited, device type, country, referrer. No personal identifiers are stored.
Why we collect it.

- To confirm and service your reservation.
- To send the newsletter you signed up for (and only that — never sold or shared).
- To understand how the site is performing so we can fix what's not working.
Who helps us process it.
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to actually run the site. Each one has its own privacy policy, linked below.

Cookies and analytics.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand traffic patterns. GA4 sets a small number of cookies in your browser. None of them store identifying information about you personally.
The embedded Hospitable booking widget and our payment processor (Stripe) may set their own cookies once you start a booking. Those are functional cookies — they're needed for the booking to actually work.
You can disable cookies entirely through your browser settings, or block Google Analytics specifically using Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site will still work, but the booking widget may behave differently.
Your rights.
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Tell you what data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your data from our records (subject to anything we're legally required to keep — tax records on completed bookings, for example).
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, but you can also email us directly and we'll handle it.
Just email us and we'll respond within 7 days.
Children.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy.
If we change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top. Substantive changes will be noted at the top of the page for at least 30 days. Continuing to use the site after a change means you've accepted the new version.

Terms of service.
By using this site or booking a stay through it, you agree to a few simple things:
Bookings
Bookings made through the embedded widget are real, binding reservations processed by Hospitable and Stripe. Your confirmation email is your contract. Our house rules and cancellation policy govern the stay itself.
Best-rate guarantee
If you find the same dates listed at a lower public rate on Airbnb, VRBO, or Booking.com within 24 hours of booking direct, send us the screenshot and we'll match it. This excludes promotional discounts only available to certain users (loyalty programs, AirCover credits, platform-specific coupons).
"Save up to 14.2%"
The savings claim on the booking section refers to Airbnb's standard guest service fee, which historically runs up to 14.2% of the subtotal at time of writing. Actual savings depend on dates, length of stay, and platform-specific charges that change without notice. Compare both prices side-by-side at the time you book — we want you confident, not surprised.
Content and intellectual property
All photography, text, and design on this site are © NooknKey 2026 unless otherwise noted. Reposting individual photos on social media with credit is fine and encouraged. Wholesale republication, reselling, or use of this content to represent another property is not.
Site availability
We do our best to keep the site, the booking widget, and the email signups working at all times. If something is broken at the moment you want to book, please email or call us — we'd rather take your booking by hand than lose it to a server hiccup.
Disputes & governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes that can't be resolved informally will be handled in Davidson County, Tennessee.
